Jonny Glenn Releases A New Heartfelt Single “Alone”
This track is a beautiful reflection on relationships and the importance of finding yourself first. Los Angeles-based artist Jonny Glenn wears his heart on his sleeve in this sensual hit. The powerful lyrics make room for self-reflection, and are accompanied by deeply felt melodies. Jonny shares a few of his own wise words below.
"The song is really about figuring yourself out before being with someone else. It's kind of a coming of age realization. I think we are all kind of unconscious in a sense and not really in control of our actions - reactive to others, not doing what we want as an individual. Until we figure ourselves out, I think it's best to be alone. Otherwise, we aren't getting the best out of our relationships and realizing their full potential. It's good to see what we like in potential partners but I think all relationships are bound to fail until each individual comes to their own sense of meaning and understanding. If you don't, you really just end up hurting yourself and the other person. We cause our own pain."
