Written and inspired by the empty shops and closed restaurants of the 2020 Pandemic, this new track is sure to bring light to the darkest days. The inspirational lyrics bring hope and empowerment, reminding us all that we can get through anything as long as we are together. The song is written and produced by Zach Said, who also resides in London. Below are a few words from the artist herself regarding her new single.
“The song talks about the fact that building up walls around our feelings and trying to tackle life all on our own is not the solution, but connecting with ourselves and others is. The last line of the chorus says “maybe our story starts, when everything falls apart”, because we might find that some of the best things happen, not despite, but because of the darkness. And we’re ready for it, so “let the apocalypse come." -
