Feel This Song Deep Under Your Skin: Forêt Noire's Debut Single

Underskin is underrated. This is the first creation of the enigmatic artist group Forêt Noire. The song is beautifully produced: contrasting dark, textured sounds, with the smooth and gentle voice revealing vulnerable lyrics. The soundscape is sprinkled with deep, punchy basses, sounds of the forest, emotive strings and guitar licks, and the singer’s light vocals echoing around.
The song tells a creative story of a woman who is living with her boyfriend who is not physically with her, rather, she “lives with [his] heart inside her.” She finds that because of this “[his] heart won't let [her] love another one”. This is all poetically painted as him being “under her skin”. We look forward to what more will come from this group, especially because this is their first ever creation as a collective!
