Danish/Senegalese Artist Kinck Teams Up With Egyptian Rapper Yukka For “Home (Ya Feel)”

Two artists coming from different horizons, come together to tell about the homesickness they’re going through, especially in these times of closed borders. The duo includes the emerging Copenhagen-based artist of Danish/Senegalese origin, Kinck, and the Egyptian rapper Yukka.
The track entitled “Home (Ya feel)” is, indeed, Kinck's first self-produced single off her lates EP album “No Small Talk, Pt.1“ and the result is stunning. Indeed, fusing a modern hip hop soundscape with an enchanting oriental vocal performance style, the production highlights an impressive musical artistry with a Sahelian touch. Yukka showcases her canorous flow, incorporating captivating arabic lyrics.
About the song, Kinck shares:
“No small talk Pt 1 is the first of two collection of songs that reflects the healing process I’ve been in the last few years. It has both been a personal and creative healing, that has brought me back to a more confident self after some vey hard years. The single Home (Ya Leel) feels like an introduction to a new braver me and actually taking the jump into producing felt vey scary, but also very freeing.”
