“Self-love should be a dance party. I had a meltdown one day; filled with self-doubt and insecurity. So I decided to “do myself a favor” by looking at a photo of myself when I felt powerful, to remind myself of who I really am. ‘Some days are those days’, but my grandmother taught me to look in the mirror and speak encouraging things to myself because ‘the more that you say it, the more you’ll believe it’. If we so easily believe the negatives, why can’t we replace those with the positives?”
