Dasha Was Told That She’s Being “Dramatic”, SO She Wrote A Song About IT.
In a sparkling melodic concoction, the young American singer Dasha introduces us to her cracking voice, through her track entitled "Dramatic".
Indeed, the song is patterned after a pop music standard, while retaining the singer's own musical roots. In fact, Dasha strives to never lose her sonic identity even if she has to explore other musical horizons. Her objective is to enliven her audience with more vibrant, raw and upbeat material. This effort can already be spotted in her track "Dramatic", which despite its lyrical, somewhat melancholic connotation, retains a sparkling energy. In fact, after experiencing a humiliating break-up with her first love, Dasha decided to tell the story in the way she knows best — through music. She explains her side of the story by saying:
Last year I got broken up with… on face time… after he got back with his ex… after telling me not to tell anyone about us… But he was my first love, unfortunately. During the fall out I finally came to my senses. I got pissed at him and called him out for everything, and his response, ladies and gentleman, was that I was “being dramatic”. So, naturally I wrote a song about it.
