Being raised in a small city such as Brooklin, Ontario, truly help Canadian singer-songwriter Haddix to shaped her unique sonic art form. The young artist recently unveiled her second single « Hush », orchestrated as an alternative Pop production with some commercial sprinkles.
Not only the production is catchy, but it also showcases the singer’s brilliant songwriting technic and her melodious vocal timbre. Indeed, « Hush », on the lyrical view, portrays the need of breaking down barriers to fully embrace a relationship, by replacing thoughts with genuine emotions. Haddix actually says:
Sometimes reality or anxieties get in the way of us expressing our true feelings and we get caught up in logistics. This song is about letting go of those fears and truly just opening your mind to love by living in the moment.
