Australia's Rising Star - Selasie - Drops Debut Track “Unnatural"
Meet one of Australia’s rising musicians, Selasie. He’s a twenty-two year old musician who has dropped his debut song Unnatural. This song will have your head bopping to the base and drums as you follow along to and enjoy the 80s synths dancing across this track. Selasie gives us vocals that harmonize and teases us with some chill rap flow. He wanted this track to be a blend of genres - rap, RnB, pop - refusing to conform to just one. He wants to keep his listeners guessing what’s to come next.
Selasie also created a cinematic experience for you all to enjoy. He exclaimed that he, “Had a lot of fun shooting this music video. It’s the first of many to come, and [I’m] proud of the fact that we were able to bring the vision alive without a huge budget. We wanted it to feel reminiscent of a being in and out of a dream and reality, concerning someone who you are falling out of love with - and I think we did that in a raw way.”
Unnatural is about heartbreak and missing someone, and not feeling the same after you go through something. If you’ve recently gone though a heartbreak, this song will help lift your mood and get you motivated to sway your body. Stream Unnatural now and add to your favorite genre-bending playlist.
