An Artist Worth The Hype - Desmond Myers - Releases “Shadows"
Meet Desmond Myers, an artist from North Carolina who’s giving us an energizing, funky track and waterfall falsetto vocals on his newest release Shadows. The song is the perfect addition to your solo dance playlist or to your next game night with friends. It is a friendly tune that gives you all the dark rhythm you could ask for and expressive melodies that will encourage you to sing along.
Myers explained that ““Shadows”” is a song [he] wrote after being frustrated with overthinking. [He] can be a very cerebral person at times and [he] wanted to make a song that got [him] out of [his] own head. [He] had been making a lot of mid-tempo music about things that were very personal to [him] and [he] just wanted to make something to shake those feelings off to. It ended up being just as vulnerable of an experience as those other songs. It was like treating [him]self through song, which is its own unique kind of vulnerability.””
This artist is without a doubt an incredibly skilled vocalist and masterful songwriter. Desmond Myers has proven himself an extremely capable and gifted artist. Don’t just stream Shadows, make sure to go binge Myer’s entire album release now!
